Showers and thunderstorms ahead of rising temperatures next week

Clouds will form during the day, which may cause local showers and isolated thunderstorms, especially in the Troodos region, but also in parts of Nicosia and Larnaca.

During the night, the sky will mostly clear up and conditions will improve.

Early Monday morning

In the early hours of Monday, fog, low clouds and temporary fog patches may form, especially in Nicosia and Famagusta.

Nighttime temperatures range around 19°C in Nicosia, 20°C in Limassol and 14°C in Troodos.

Monday's weather and temperatures

On Monday, morning fog and low clouds will gradually dissipate, resulting in a mix of sunshine and clouds.

Isolated showers or thunderstorms are possible again in the afternoon, mainly over the mountains and in the interior of the island.

The daily high temperatures are around 34°C in Nicosia, 31°C in Limassol and Larnaca, 28°C in Paphos and Kyrenia, and around 24°C in Troodos.

Outlook for the following days

Between Tuesday and Thursday, the weather will remain mostly sunny on the island.

Temperatures will continue to rise throughout the week and will then be above the seasonal average.
