Cyprus has three airports: Larnaca and Paphos in the south as well as Ercan In the north. If arriving via the south, crossing the border into the north is straightforward. Please observe the customs regulations (including those concerning cigarettes and alcohol).

Ercan (North)

The main airport of Northern Cyprus, which has been extensively expanded since 2022.

Larnaca (South)

South, near the northern border — with direct flights from Germany.

Paphos (South)

The furthest away — a hidden gem for budget-conscious, experienced travelers.

Flights to Ercan (north) from Germany are usually not available — a layover in Turkey is typical. Direct flights are available to Larnaca in the south, from where a short transfer across the border is required.
