Die Lefkoşa Türk Belediyesi (LTB) veranstaltete das Surlariçi Kinderfestival im Lefkoşa Sanat Merkezi (LESAM). Das Festival bot verschiedene künstlerische und kulturelle Aktivitäten für Kinder an, darunter einen Ebru-Kunst-Workshop mit Ülviye Karabaşak, eine Bauchredner-Show von Hanife Tayyareci sowie eine Klappmaulpuppenshow und Gesichtsbemalungen. An der Veranstaltung nahm auch der LTB-Präsident Mehmet Harmancı teil.
