St. Hilarion Castle
St. Hilarion Castle is a Crusader castle in the Kyrenia Mountains near Karaman in the Girne (Kyrenia) region. It clings to the rocks of the Beşparmak Mountains above Girne.
Its location gave the castle control over the mountain pass from Kyrenia to Nicosia. Of the three former fortresses in the Kyrenia Mountains, it is the best-preserved ruin; the other two are Kantara and Buffavento. From the top, you have a sweeping view of the coast.
