World Refugee Day Street Festival
On June 19th, the World Refugee Day Street Festival will take place in Phaneromeni Square in Nicosia. From 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, the square will be filled with solidarity, music, art, and international flavors. The event honors refugees worldwide and celebrates their contributions in Cyprus. DJ Cotsios o Pikatillis will provide musical entertainment with world music. Visitors can sample international cuisine, while information booths will offer insights into the activities of refugee organizations and civil society groups. A play and craft area will be available for children. At 7:00 PM, a clown storytelling performance, "Mr. Hat & the Adventures of the Newspaper," will take place, appealing to visitors of all ages. Admission is free.
