World Refugee Day Street Festival in Nicosia
The World Refugee Day Street Festival takes place on June 19th from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Phaneromeni Square in Nicosia. This daytime festival celebrates World Refugee Day with music, international food, art, and information booths from various refugee-related organizations. A special highlight is a clown storytelling performance at 7:00 PM called "Mr. Hat & the Adventures of the Newspaper." The festival aims to celebrate community spirit and cultural diversity and to raise awareness of refugees and their contributions.
