Words and images of the everyday
The exhibition ‚Fotografies je Lexis I to Antitheto‘ by Andreas Gregoras combines photography, the written word, and everyday life. The exhibition takes place from June 3rd to 6th at the To Erma venue in Nicosia. The photographs are spontaneous snapshots taken from the daily life of a 30-year-old in Nicosia, accompanied by short poems, thoughts, or manifestos in the Cypriot dialect, which lend the images an additional layer of meaning. This combination of image and text is being presented in Cyprus for the first time and reflects people's inner worlds as well as the significance of moments that might otherwise go unnoticed.
