The Cyprus Bloomsday Festival focuses on the female voices in Ulysses
The 5th Cyprus Bloomsday Festival takes place on Tuesday, June 16th in Nicosia, celebrating the Irish writer James Joyce and his seminal novel Ulysses. This year's focus is on the female voices within the novel, explored in a bilingual stage performance in Greek and English. The performance unites Irish tenor, actor, and pianist Morgan Crowley with actresses Erika Begeti and Ioanna Papamichalopoulos. Live music and vocals, accompanied by Crowley, and artistic direction by Lili Michaelidou complete the evening. The festival is held at the ARTos House Rooftop and begins at 8 pm. Admission is free, but reservations are recommended.
