Tatlısu-Çiftlikdüzü Arkeopark Projesi for the preservation and development of archaeological excavations
A protocol was signed to implement a comprehensive archaeological park project in the Tatlısu-Çiftlikdüzü (Akanthou) area, aimed at preserving, developing, and promoting archaeological excavations internationally. The park will protect the Neolithic settlement area and allow visitors to observe live excavations. A museum, visitor center, educational areas, laboratories, excavation houses, and social facilities will be part of the park. The project, supported by the International University of Cyprus, the Ministry of Culture, and the Municipality of Tatlısu, will also offer programs for various age groups and aims to raise global awareness of Tatlısu's cultural heritage.
