The LGBTQIA+ film festival Queer Wave returns to Nicosia in late summer for its seventh edition. Taking place from September 18th to 27th at NiMAC, the festival offers a ten-day program of film screenings, performances, and special events. It brings together local and international filmmakers and provides a platform for LGBTQIA+ experiences and queer expression. Since 2020, over 250 Cyprus premieres of LGBTQIA+ films have been screened, and Cypriot artists have been supported.
