Make Music Festival in Nicosia
Das dreitägige Make Music Festival in Nikosia beginnt am Freitag und bietet Live-Musik in drei Stadtteilen. Am Freitag finden Auftritte im traditionellen Kern von Ayios Dometios statt, am Samstag treten 11 Bands in Aglandjia und Engomi auf. Höhepunkt ist der Sonntag mit 376 Künstlern, die in der Altstadt auftreten. Am gleichen Abend tritt der 30-köpfige, weibliche Amalgamation Choir im Haus des Hadjigeorgakis Kornesios – Ethnologisches Museum, Nicosia, auf, um traditionelle und zypriotische Musik zu Ehren des Internationalen Musiktags zu präsentieren.
