LTB Tiyatro ve Kültür Merkezi planned for 2028

In a ceremony in Lefkoşa, the construction contract for the LTB Theatre and Cultural Center, a new theatre and cultural center in Yenişehir, Lefkoşa, was signed. The project, financed by the Lefkoşa Turkish Municipality with a total cost of 330 million TL, is scheduled for completion within 18 months and will be ready for use in time for the 24th Kıbrıs Theatre Festival in 2028. The center will include a large hall with 465 seats, state-of-the-art stage technology, an orchestra platform, a theatre museum, and diverse event and meeting spaces. Plans also include a plaza, an open-air amphitheater, a café, exhibition spaces, and a multi-story parking garage. The investment is considered one of the largest for the city in recent decades.
