Lefke'de Ceviz Festivali

The Ceviz Festival in Lefke took place in the town center and offered a variety of activities throughout the day. The opening ceremony began with a parade, followed by the ribbon-cutting by the victorious students of the Lefke Gazi Lisesi Futsal Team. Official speeches were given by Mayor Aziz Kaya and Hasan Karlıtaş, Chairman of the Lefke Tourism Association. The festival included stalls selling traditional food, cultural performances, folk dancing, music, exhibitions, and children's activities such as face painting. The festival aimed to preserve traditional productions, promote Cypriot culture, and bring economic benefits to the region. It ran until 10:30 p.m.
