Unions announce strike in the courts

The unions Kıbrıs İşçi ve Emekçi Sendikaları Federasyonu, KTAMS, KAMU-İŞ, and KAMU-SEN have issued a strike warning due to staff shortages in the courts of Northern Cyprus. Following a press conference held in front of the Lefkoşa District Court on June 12, the government was given until September 15 to address the staff shortage and create new positions. If no solution is found by then, a strike in the courts will begin on September 16.
