Film screenings in the old city center of Nicosia

The "Images and Views of Alternative Cinema" festival takes place from June 15th to 21st in the courtyard of the Hambis Municipal Printmaking Museum in Nicosia's old town. An initiative of the Deputy Ministry of Culture in collaboration with the non-profit organization Brave New Culture, it offers a comprehensive program for alternative film enthusiasts. The program includes three films by Hungarian filmmaker Béla Tarr, as well as works by Cypriot artist Arianna Economou. Additionally, films by Soviet director Boris Barnet and a tribute to 1980s Canadian director David Cronenberg will be presented.
