There are traffic routes in Gazimağusa, Girne and Güzelyurt

Yesterday, from 8:00 PM to midnight, simultaneous security and traffic checks were conducted in the districts of Gazimağusa, Girne, and Güzelyurt. Police carried out checks at various locations, including entertainment venues, bars, nightclubs, casinos, cafes, betting shops, and busy public squares. In Gazimağusa, 20 people found to be illegally entering casinos were fined. Additionally, 985 drivers were checked, 296 of whom were reported for various traffic violations. In Girne, 35 people were cited for violations in casinos, and operators of entertainment venues were sanctioned for violating opening hours and playing unauthorized music. A total of 2,767 drivers were checked, and 233 traffic tickets were issued. No incidents were reported in Güzelyurt, where 1,664 drivers were checked. The measures served to protect the public and maintain order in these districts.
