Cumhuriyet Meclisi Genel Kurulu meeting before summer break

The Cumhuriyet Meclisi General Assembly will hold its last session before the summer recess tomorrow. The agenda includes ten draft laws, three reports, three draft resolutions, and one additional legislative proposal. The session begins at 10:00 AM and will address, among other things, legislative amendments concerning elections, the police, public employee salaries, pensions, and social security. Reports on the candidate evaluation for the Broadcasting Council and an audit of the security forces will also be reviewed. The third reading of several draft laws and resolutions is also scheduled.
