Cinema in concert: an audiovisual experience

Orchestra Lumiere presents a concert series in September and October that combines the power of film music with moving images. Under the direction of composer Kyriakos Kosta and pianist Marianna Georgiou, familiar melodies from the world of cinema will be presented through new arrangements, with a focus on 21st-century compositions. The performances comprise four concerts: on September 9 at the Attikon Open-Air Theatre in Paphos, on September 11 in the central square of the village of Melini, on October 2 in the village square of Simou, and on October 3 in the community council square of Panagia. All concerts begin at 8 pm. The event is part of the cultural decentralization program and offers an audiovisual experience with original interactive video art.
