Butoh dance workshop with Japanese dancer Maki Watanabe

In July, a workshop on Japanese Butoh dance will take place at Dance House Lefkosia in Nicosia. Led by Maki Watanabe, a Japanese Butoh dancer and teacher living in Paris, the workshop is open to anyone interested in dance, movement, and perception, and no prior experience is necessary. The workshop will explore the unique aspects of Butoh dance, which focuses on body awareness, imagination, and the perception of time and space. The event will be held over two days, July 5th and 6th, with four-hour sessions on Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon.
