Boğaz Şehitliği'nde 15 Temmuz töreni

A commemorative ceremony was held at Boğaz Şehitliği to mark the 10th anniversary of the 15th Day of Democracy and National Unity. The ceremony was attended by high-ranking political and military representatives of Northern Cyprus, as well as the Turkish Ambassador to Lefkoşa. It began with the laying of wreaths, followed by a minute of silence and the playing of the national anthem. Speeches were given, prayers were offered, and carnations were laid on the graves of the martyrs. The newly planted olive trees at the memorial site were also visited. The Ambassador emphasized the importance of remembering the heroic resistance of the Turkish people and firefighters to the attempted coup in 2016. Further events, such as panel discussions and exhibitions, are planned to provide a deeper understanding of the events and the significance of national unity.
