Exhibition ‚A Slight Indisposition‘ at NiMAC Nicosia
The exhibition ‚A Slight Indisposition‘ at the Nicosia Municipal Arts Centre (NiMAC) features works by various Cypriot and international artists, including a piece by the Turkish Cypriot artist Emin Çizenel. His work, ‚A Lost Moment‘, is part of the exhibition and was acquired by the Republic of Cyprus in 2007. The exhibition is not organized by the Nicosia Municipality, and there has been public controversy regarding the artist's work in connection with the flag of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. NiMAC affirms the exhibition's full artistic freedom and will review the matter at an extraordinary meeting.
