An evening of Japanese koto music

A special concert of traditional Japanese koto music will take place on September 9th at the Costas Stefanis Amphitheatre of the Cyprus Institute in Nicosia. UK-based musician Aki Kitagawa, a member of the Sawai Koto Institute, will present a repertoire of traditional, classical, and contemporary works on the Ikuta-ryū koto. The event is organized by the Embassy of Japan in Cyprus in collaboration with the Cyprus Institute. The concert begins at 7 pm; admission is free, but online reservations are required.
