A Slight Indisposition – Group Exhibition of Contemporary Art
Die Gruppenausstellung „A Slight Indisposition“ findet vom 26. Juni bis 26. Juli im Nicosia Municipal Arts Centre (NiMAC) in Nikosia statt. 16 aufstrebende und etablierte Künstler aus Zypern und dem Ausland zeigen Werke, die sich mit den Themen Veränderung, Erinnerung und Zeit beschäftigen. Die Ausstellung ist vom Werk „Die Verwandlung“ von Franz Kafka inspiriert und thematisiert Transformation als Zustand des Seins und Werdens. Neben der Ausstellung gibt es ein Programm mit Performances, Künstlergesprächen und Führungen. Zur Eröffnung am 26. Juni finden zwei Performances statt: „The Offspring“ von Umay Yilmaz um 19 Uhr und „Hallowing the Limax Dei“ von Hasan Aksaygın um 20 Uhr. Weitere Veranstaltungen folgen im Juli.
