A Slight Indisposition – Exhibition at the Nicosia Municipal Arts Centre (Nimac)
The exhibition ‚A Slight Indisposition‘ at the Nicosia Municipal Arts Centre (Nimac) in Nicosia showcased works by 16 contemporary artists from Cyprus and abroad. Curated by Turkish Cypriot art historian Esra Plumer Bardak, the exhibition closed on Sunday. It sparked a public debate and included, among other works, ‚a hammer, a coin, a cry, a wish‘ by British artist Fauve Alice, which symbolically addresses money, greed, and nature. The exhibition's title, a reference to Franz Kafka's novella ‚The Metamorphosis‘, reflects on social and psychological themes.
