7th Nicosia International Festival with 22 productions
Das 7. Nicosia International Festival bringt 22 Produktionen aus Zypern, Griechenland, Libanon, Frankreich, Irland und Spanien auf die Bühne. Das Festival findet vom 12. September bis zum 1. November im Nicosia Municipal Theatre statt und umfasst Theater, zeitgenössischen Tanz, Musik und interdisziplinäre Performances. Neben dem Theater werden auch der Stadtplatz, Kolonnaden und Gärten für öffentliche Veranstaltungen genutzt, um Nicosia zu einem kulturellen Mittelpunkt zu machen. Neben international renommierten Künstlern werden auch lokale Talente gefördert. Zwei neue Aufführungsräume, das Studio für experimentelle Produktionen und On Stage als neue Perspektive auf die Hauptbühne, bereichern das Festivalprogramm.
