3. Kaleburnu Arkeo Festivali
The 3rd Kaleburnu Arkeo Festival featured a diverse program including folk dances, musical performances, concerts, a backgammon tournament in honor of the late İsmet Medi, the opening of a cultural center, a documentary screening, the exhibition "Kral Tepesi Fısıldıyor" (The Great Temple is Reopening), guided tours of historical sites, and local specialties. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism and Culture, Fikri Ataoğlu, announced that work is underway to establish a museum to display artifacts recovered from Kaleburnu. The festival celebrates the cultural and historical significance of the region, which boasts a history dating back 6,000 years. The event was held in Kaleburnu, in the İskele district.
