25th Animated Film Festival (Animafest) in Koilani
The 25th Animafest animation film festival takes place from August 7th to 9th in the village of Koilani in the rural district of Limassol. One of the longest-running animation events in Southern Europe, the festival presents international and national competitions with around 30 films from 17 countries. In addition to film screenings, there are exhibitions, workshops for children and families, a stage for experimental films, and five live concerts by Cypriot artists. The festival opens with a workshop on August 6th at the Koilani Environmental Centre. The festival is known for its official poster design by renowned animation artists.
