25th Animated Film Festival (Animafest) in Koilani
Animafest, one of Southern Europe's oldest animation film festivals, celebrates its 25th edition from August 7th to 9th in Koilani, a village in the rural district of Limassol. The festival offers a comprehensive program including film screenings, competitions for international and national films, exhibitions, workshops, and live concerts. On August 6th, prior to the official opening, there will be a workshop for children and families, as well as a workshop on collecting oral stories. The festival will screen 30 films from 17 countries in the international competition, along with 15 films for young audiences selected by a jury. A second stage will be dedicated to experimental audiovisual performances. The festival poster was designed by German filmmaker Andreas Hykade.
