2026 Mezuniyet Töreni of AB Burs Programı

The graduation ceremony for the AB Burs Program for the class of 2026 took place yesterday at the Ledra Palace Hotel in the Lefkoşa buffer zone. Ambassadors from EU member states, representatives of the European Commission, representatives of the Turkish and Greek Cypriot communities, UN representatives, members of education and youth committees, alumni, students, and their families attended the event. The scholarship recipients, who completed the two-year International Baccalaureate program at UWC schools in Europe, celebrated their graduation. Since the program's launch in 2019, a total of 102 students have benefited from the scholarships. Supported by EU funding totaling €8.2 million to date, the program aims to foster the leadership skills of young people and strengthen intercommunal dialogue through UWC short courses and workshops in Cyprus.
