CY-Alert System Fire Drill in Ora Village, Larnaca
In Ora village in the Larnaca region, a fire drill was conducted using the CY-Alert notification system, which sends alerts to citizens‘ mobile phones during emergencies and disasters. As part of the drill, residents received notifications prompting the evacuation of the area. The drill involved coordination and instructions from police and Civil Defense teams. Additionally, seven drills were held in Larnaca, Paphos, and Famagusta regions, with further drills planned for June 10 in Kalopanayioti and Fini areas. The exercises aim to prepare for emergency evacuations.
